We wanted to share something that made us smile this week.
We just published a new blog about a zoo in New Mexico that’s exploring hemp-derived CBD as part of how they care for their senior animals, including tiger Sooner and timber wolf Katie. Both are 15 years old, which means that Katie has lived about twice as long as most wild timber wolves.
Caretakers have noticed encouraging changes — more engagement, more movement, and a kind of youthful spark returning to animals well past the typical age for their species.
It’s a feel-good reminder that mood, comfort, and quality of life matter at every stage — whether we’re talking about animals or ourselves.
